After an ass-numbing drive up north to a quaint little resort whose rooms my boss said resembled a morgue (stark white walls, stark white sheets, flourescent lighting), we looked up and saw a beautiful full moon casting a gentle light on the water. Wow. As in, Wow...can somebody get me a date here?
And this is the beach. It's not Boracay, but it sure isn't crowded.
San Juan, La Union. A long drive, but well worth it.

Beer Brat-> oh yeah, you're a Malaysian in Singapore. La Union is in the northernmost part of the Philippines.
Been there twice for work (a couple of hearings). Was entertained by the client REALLY well... that's why I can't forget it.
Really nice beaches. But I went there dead into rainy season... And I'm not much of a beach person than a pool person...
Glad you got a head start on summer. I think you needed it.
