Combat my ass

Although I've improved much since I started working out January, I still can't get rid of my paunch, despite the cuts I've developed from all those ab workouts. (Cuts you can see if you look hard enough and if I hold my breath long enough.) My legs show the biggest improvement, they aren't as flabby and, ha! the cellulite isn't so visible anymore. (At least not to me....) My triceps are showing cuts, too...now if only I can move my arms....

Anyways, so back to my paunch. I figured I'd have to do more cardio. I've been running 30 minutes four times a week on the treadmill since January, and from what I've read the running on the treadmill produces the best results compared to the elliptical trainer and the bike. So what did I do? I joined a class last night.

I figured that tae-bo class called Bodycombat would do the trick. Ha. After ten minutes of warm-up, I gave up. I was just too friggin' uncoordinated! I didn't know how to kick, where to kick, how to throw a punch in the air, and it was just too damn fast. You know how it feels to be the stupidest in class? That's how I felt. That was a complete validation of what I've known since I was in my teens: I have piss-poor physical coordination. I'm a total klutz in dancing and not even a class could change me. Why I even tried to join Bodycombat...well, I wasn't thinking.
